Partovich, nominated to compete in the McDonald's All-American game, led the Mounties boys' basketball team to two important Olympic League victories. Partovich scored a season-high 30 points in last Tuesday's 65-48 victory over Calvary Chapel of Downey as Montclair Prep overcome the absence of injured Anthony Green. He scored 25 in Friday's 63-49 victory over Crossroads of Santa Monica.

Ross scored two goals to pass Marisel Pasos as the all-time scoring leader for Louisville's girls' water polo team in last Tuesday's 10-1 rout of Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks. Ross added seven more to her total in Thursday's 18-1 romp over

Flintridge Sacred Heart of La Canada Flintridge, pushing her career mark to 210. Apablasa had four assists Thursday to set Louisville's single-season record with 42.

The sophomore first-year starter capped a 28-7 regular season with a 3-0 record in Saturday's Marmonte League wrestling finals at Simi Valley, where he was one of four individual league champions and seven finalists for the Highlanders.
